Rosie is a great name for this girl.  She came in very discouraged and frightened and hunkered down low in the back of her kennel.  Some dogs will growl or snap, out of fear, but not this girl, even though the reason she came to us is because she had been badly treated before her rescue.  Rosie’s right cheek wears that bad memory, but like so many of her kind, she is willing to ‘turn the other cheek’ and try again.

Rosie girl has a rosy future!  She is such a dear sweet girl who now stands at the gate, tail wagging, ready to venture out, with trust in her heart and her head held up high.  Her transformation is so heartening.  Take a lesson from Rosie:  When life takes a dark turn, try not to get discouraged. Have faith in yourself and the goodness of others. Believe in second chances.  Rosie believes in second chances and RCHS has made hers possible. She hopes that hers will be walking through the door any day now.  If you want a loyal, lovely, gentle, and affectionate companion, Rosie would be the perfect choice.  In the meantime Rosie waits at her gate, with an optimistic wag and a smile.
